The Jewish-Arab Centre hosts a round tables seminar about "Fostering a culture of peace – The contribution of actions to interfaith understanding"

The Jewish Arab Centre, in cooperation with Universal Peace Federation (UPF), Jerusalem Interfaith Forum, had hosted a seminar titled "Fostering a culture of peace – The contribution of actions to interfaith understanding" in celebration of the International Day of Peace

 

The seminar addressed the contribution of different interfaith activities to the promoting understanding the culture of peace

In the interfaith activity seminar Prof Itzchak Weismann, head of the Jewish Arab centre, had addressed the interfaith activity issue, alongside Prof. Ephraim Meir, head of the department of Jewish philosophy in Bar-Ilan University, and Sheikh Samir `Asi, the imam of Al-Jazzar Mosque in Acre.

Following the panel participants had round table discussion about the subject of the seminar, and the seminar was concluded with the lecture by Miri Kamar titled "Being Ambassador of Peace", where she gave examples about ambassadors of peace from all over the world like Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa ad others
